  • This study examined, “the association between recreational sedentary behavior based on tv and screen based entertainment and mental health in a representative sample of adults”.
  • Study found that 4 hours or more of screen time a day can lead to poorer mental health.
  • The study also found that keeping screen time less than or equal to two hours a day is the ideal amount. 

How Can You Decrease Your Screen Time Usage?

  • It’s difficult because we have to engage in screens with work and in our general lives.
  • Make the conscious effort to engage in activities that don’t include screens.

  • Choose alternative entertainment.
